Where do the numbers come from? Every average is built from published polls compiled by The New York Times, used under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. The Sources page lists every pollster and every poll, with a link to each release.
How are the averages calculated? See Methods for the full details, or the short version on the Sources page.
I think a poll is wrong or missing. Email us with the pollster's name and a link to its release. We check new polls every three hours and correct mistakes quickly.
When can I answer the questions myself? People's Poll is coming soon. Leave your email on the home page and we'll send you one note when it opens.
How do I remove my email from the notify list? Email support@peoplespoll.com from that address and we'll delete it.
